General Rules

No purchase necessary. To register by mail please send 3.x 5 card with Name, Address, and telephone number to: Boat Show 2009 P.O. Box 210797 Columbia, SC 29221. All mailed registration cards must be received no later than February 11, 2010 to be eligible.

Must be 18 years of age or older on February 1st, 2010 to win tickets or be eligible for prizes. Children under the age of 18 may register for and be eligible to win prizes if accompanied by an adult.

Must possess a valid South Carolina driver's license.

Employees of WACH TV, Barrington Columbia LLC, DNR, all participating Boat Show vendors, parent companies and any entities connected with the conduct of this contest as well as members of their immediate families are not eligible to win prizes.

Prizes/tickets awarded in conjunction with the 2010 Boat Show have no redeemable cash value and cannot be traded for other products.

Prize winners will be chosen at random from a drawing of registrants at that time. Selection can be made by multiple organizers or vendors/individuals associated with the event. Once someone has won a prize their name will not be re-entered into the pool for future prizes.

Malfunction of prizes or inoperable prizes are not the responsibility of the 2010 Boat Show, any participating media outlets, any participating vendors/manufacturers/dealers, the location where the boat show is held, etc.

To become a contestant and participate:

Individuals must register at the predetermined location before the final item has been awarded to be eligible.

Only one registration for the contest is necessary.

Registration begins on Thursday, February 11th and ends at Sunday, February 14th at a predetermined time. To register by mail please see item 1 above.

Winners will be announced during 2010 boat show. All winners who do not claim their prize during the event will be contacted using the phone number listed on the official registration ballot. Contact will be attempted for up to 7 days. Winners will then have 7 days to collect their prize. If contact is unsuccessful or winner fails to collect prize in stated time period then winner forfeits his/her rights to that prize for eternity.

The contest administrator and 2010 Boat Show reserves the right at all times to change prizes, reduce the number of prizes, or end the distribution of prizes completely for any reason.

A total of 50 prizes will be awarded throughout the boat show, and only one prize can be won by a household, regardless of individuals registrations.

Acceptance of any preliminary round prize constitutes permission to use the winner's name and likeness and voice recordings for advertising and publicity purposes without additional compensation.

Winner substitutions are prohibited and cannot be transferred

By participating in the drawing, participants agree to be bound by the decisions of the Company (WACH TV, Barrington Columbia LLC, the Columbia Boat Show Group and it’s Association, The Ad Agency, etc.) and contest personnel. The Company reserves the right to disqualify any participant or winner and may refuse to award any prize to a person who is ineligible or has violated any rule, gained unfair advantage in participating in the contest, or obtained winner status using fraudulent means. The Company will interpret these rules and resolve any disputes, conflicting claims or ambiguities concerning the rules or the contest and all decisions concerning such disputes shall be final. In the event of human error, or any mechanical, technical, electronic, communications, telephone, computer, hardware or software errors, malfunctions or failures of any kind, sponsoring companies and contest personnel reserve the right to terminate this contest, or make such other decisions regarding the outcome as deemed appropriate. All decisions will be made by the Company and are final. The Company may waive any of these rules in its sole discretion.

WACH TV, Barrington Columbia LLC, The Boat Show Group Association, The Ad Agency LLC, as well as their, agents, parent companies, and any other affiliated companies or entities are not responsible for any mechanical, technical, printing, video, computer or telephone errors or allegations of any such difficulties. The Company is not responsible for mechanical, technical, electronic, communications, telephone, computer, hardware or software errors, malfunctions or failures of any kind, including: failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed transmission of online entries, traffic congestion on telephone lines, the Internet or at any website or lost or unavailable network connections which may limit an online entrant's ability to participate in the Contest, and any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participating in or downloading any information necessary to participate in the Contest.

By participating, each participant and winner waives any and all claims of liability against the Company WACH TV, Barrington Columbia LLC, The Boat Show Group Association, The Ad Agency LLC, its employees and agents, the Contest’s sponsors and their respective employees and agents, for any personal injury or loss which may occur from the conduct of, or participation in, the Contest, or from the use of any prize.

The Company reserves the right to discontinue the contest or alter any rule or rules or portion or part thereof. Rules may be changed or added in whole or in any part. Any changes will go into effect immediately without notice.
